A
molded copper running horse weathervane by an unknown maker. Full bodied with a zinc head, articulated ears and an open mouth.
Circa late 19th c. Excellent untouched surface of natural green verdigris. The rod is
missing, but this in no way reflects on it's appearance or stability. The removable wood finial
is not original to the vane. This manufacturer obviously sold this form to be used with another decorative piece, to be mounted
above it. No restoration of any kind. 29" long, 18 1/4" high
Price: SOLD
